A few weeks back I got a request to do more XTC songs by Miko Sato, an awesome subscriber of mine with great musical taste! So, here is the first of a couple covers I have done.
Miko, I hope you like it. I went so far as to perform karaoke too! Even though my voice is nowhere near as amazing as Andy Partridge or even Colin Moulding, I tried my best to sound decent. Terry Chambers drums on this song are so simple but so perfect at the same time, as is all of his compositions. This band is so underrated and even though they are publicly atheist, I still hold a very dear place in my heart for them, even though I disagree with their religious position. See, it is possible to disagree but still love someone or something! We can do it!
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this cover. It is one of my all-time favorite songs ever.
