I'm not much of a gamer. I am a solitaire master on the porcelain throne. I'm pretty good at sports video games (NHL, MLB, NFL, FIFA). But my favorite game of all time is SimCity 4 Rush Hour. I could play that game all day. Not only is it an amazing game in and of itself, but you can also add your own music to it so that you can listen to playlists you create while you lay down the infrastructure that your sims will turn into a megalopolis.
Back in 2003-2004, when I played that game religiously, one of the songs in my SimCity playlist was "Roulette Dares." Like most drummers, I was in love with this album and how amazing and raw the drums were. I'm sure producer Rick Rubin had almost as much of an effect on the latter as did drummer, Jon Theodore. In any case, I could never really play this one well enough until recently, when I, you know, actually practiced it.
