"Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes" by Propagandhi - PUNK WEEK '23- Day 7 of 8

Day 7 of Punk Week '23 features my punk heroes, Propagandhi, and their song, "Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes," off the album with the same name. These guys defined my youth, and although I do not agree nowadays with much of their philosophy, their music is just too darn good to not rock out to, and I am adult enough to agree to disagree without any hurt feelings or triggered emotions.

In any case, Jordan Samolesky is my punk drumming idol. He may not be the cleanest or technically sound drummer, but he comes up with some amazing beats and fills, and they just fit the music perfectly. You can feel his energy and it really pumps up the songs, especially this one (as you can tell by my profuse sweating LOL). This one was by far the most challenging to play during Punk Week '23 as it requires a lot of just straight-up banging, but I am pretty happy with the result. Let me know what you think!
